Transform your Cut Crease

We’ve all been on instagram and have seen those new trendy eye looks. If you’re anything like me, I get sweaty just thinking about the amount of focus just one eye would take. Cut creases may not be exactly brand new to the scene but, they still currently dominate the makeup scene. Thanks to our pros, we have some tips on how to turn your cut crease eye looks from struggle-bus to envious.

Prime Those Eyes

I know many makeup conspiracy-theorist detest the importance of primer but, trust me! Either a designated eye primer or a nice concealer applied all over your lids will help whatever shadow to plan to put down pop even better. Keep that concealer handy though! We’ll need that soon.

Shadows

Now that your eyes are all prepped, its time for some shadow! Pick the shadow of your choice and blend it into your crease. And by blend, I mean blend until you can’t feel your hand anymore. Either pack the shadow on for a more pigmented and bold look or leave it lightly blended out for a lighter eye look.

Concealer

Remember that concealer I told you to keep handy? Well, it’s time to pick that baby right back up! You can use the wand build into the concealer or a more precise blending brush and dip it into your fave concealer. Now carve out the desired shape underneath the shadow you just applied, making sure to follow the shape of your crease. Pick up some more eyeshadow and blend slightly to defuse that concealer line for a more seamless look.

Finishing touches
Now that you have your crease all pretty and carved out, it’s time to finish off your look! Take whatever shade your little heart desires and pack that onto the lid where you just applied that concealer. Just like that, you’re all good to go! Go flex on all of those instagram models and rock that cut crease girl!
